As an action star, admiring him as Leon and as any other quiet and charismatic good-bad guy in his films, I actually can't imagine Jean Reno doing the Pink Panther's Ponton character! Anyway, seeing his new film, L'immortel (22 Bullets) last weekend was a great experience. I love Jean Reno! Synopsis: After a long, brutal and successful career as a mafia tycoon in Marseilles, Charly Matteï has finally gone into retirement. For some years, he has lived a quiet life devoted to his mother, wife and two young children. Then, one morning, he is left for dead in a subterranean parking near the old port with 22 bullets in his body. Somehow he survives, gets his nickname of “l’Immortel” out of it, and goes looking for revenge.

It was full of "bloody" focus though. From the closed-up bullet removal from his gunshot wounds and the splashing of blood that I remember the splash of blood in Kill Bill of Q. Tarantino...only that in Tarantino's style there, he made animations to soften the effect. With 22 Bullets, you have to be careful if you hate bloods... you have to skip some parts. In fact, even the ending part where Mattei had to rescue his son, the barbed wired has really to make him get wounded/scratched and all bloody. The violence level is also high. Killings, drugs and stuff like those.

I love the acting of the little boy though. He knows what he's doing at his age! He'll be really big for sure to have a talent like he has as a boy! What's his name?

The moves here are even quicker than that of Tomb Raiders I or II. She's also extra sexy and hot here plus the action. Maybe when it comes around I have to see this film. The trailer is convincing. Although I am not into in action films, it's cool to see this mother Angie doing this role. This reminds me of my favorite "ALIAS"... The release of Apple's iPad triggered a lot of reactions. I don't have this gadget myself and I am not geeky in terms of gadgets anyway. In fact I only use my mobile phone in calling. Nothing less, nothing more. At least I call around 20 times a day so that renders my little gadget useful, I believe. No matter what it is, this hype about this latest gadget from Apple makes me really curious. Do you have it already? So what do you think about iPad? Here's an excerpt of a reaction:

So what will becomeof this issue against our clerics? I am a Roman Catholic by document and I know there are a lot of good things that can be associated withthe church. Undeniably, there are tonsof evils stuff as well. Absurd? That's reality though.

Msn reports that "break time is apparently over for Britney Spears and her agent-boyfriend, Jason Trawick." According to the same source, "the smile-deficient pair emerged hand-in-hand in Los Angeles on Wednesday, just one day after a report surfaced claiming they had recently decided to take a breather"... why? Aspreviously reported (the couple) "they were fighting a lot and have not been getting along."

So are they solid back (together) again/still? Only time will tell. Maybe soon the wind blows in the opposite direction, right? Who knows? No one knows!
